The Lifestyle Therapist

Before I started working with Crystal, I had known for many years that I wanted— needed— more than traditional relationship models offered, but I struggled to cultivate partnerships that met my kinky, non-monogamous needs. Working with Crystal, I have been able to let go of the cultural programming that was holding me back, lean into what I authentically desire, and navigate connections with integrity and care. Crystal balances levity with seriousness; she creates a no-shame environment where I feel safe to be open and vulnerable. I have been working with Crystal for a year now, and I can honestly say that I am not the same woman I was a year ago.

When I was looking for a therapist I was immediately drawn to the honesty and straightforwardness of Crystal's profile. I took a chance and it paid off in practice. It's rare that you find a therapist with both compassion and brutal honesty, while at the same time being able to communicate and interpret feelings effectively. No subject is taboo with her and her straightforwardness is refreshing. The only way I've found to truly grow while in therapy is to be honest with yourself, and there is no one I've ever met that allows me to do that more than Crystal.

I have had great difficulty finding a therapist who can take into account my entire life (professional life, sexuality, gender identity, kink, and polyamory) when they work with me. I also have a history with trauma and have been frustrated by the limited approaches to addiction, anxiety, and depression that don’t consider trauma recovery in the context of my specific lifestyle and family of choice. In the year that I have worked with Crystal she has helped me to make amazing progress in my life goals in general, wellness, and satisfaction. She made the course of work in my treatment plan clear to me at the start and she has been a strong and helpful guide through the work. She also knows when to pause the designated treatment plan when I get too raw in my trauma recovery and need to just focus on self-care. This work is never easy. I appreciate that I have an excellent guide and skilled support in this challenging time!! I would heartily recommend Crystal to anyone who is struggling – especially those who may need extra consideration and awareness from their therapist around sexuality, gender identity, and consensual non-monogamy.
